Praise from Elon Musk to Chinese President Xi Jinping

Tesla CEO and billionaire businessman Elon Musk made remarkable statements about Chinese President Xi Jinping in his interview with Chinese state television CCTV.

Musk called Xi "a great leader" and said that China made significant economic progress during his presidency.

Pointing to the new buildings and infrastructure projects built in China in recent years, Musk argued that the level of prosperity in the country has increased.

Musk stated that the increase in the welfare of the average Chinese can be seen when walking around the streets of China.

Musk is expected to attend the state dinner to be held at the White House on Thursday, September 24 in honor of Xi Jinping.

It was reported that many senior executives from the world of technology and finance were invited to the dinner to be hosted by US President Donald Trump.

In addition to Musk, the guests include names such as Apple CEO Tim Cook, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

TRUMP AND Xi WILL MEET FOR THE SECOND TIME

The meeting between Trump and Xi on September 24 will be the second summit of the two leaders in 2026.

In addition to US-China relations, topics such as trade, rare earth elements and artificial intelligence are expected to be on the agenda during the talks.

In his interview, Musk also touched upon the Shanghai factory, one of Tesla's largest production centers.

Describing the team working at the factory as "incredibly talented, hard-working and reliable," Musk praised the facility in Shanghai as an important production center for Tesla.

Tesla's activities in China are of great importance for the company. The Shanghai factory remains one of the major hubs in the company's global production network.
