After Energy disbanded more than 20 years ago, Adi went through some hard and difficult stages. He said: "I went to compete in "Golden Song Super Star" and my voice was not good. I thought I couldn't sing. That was the worst state for singing. I should continue to compete. If I didn't get eliminated, I would at least have the notification fee and I could pass the test. He also mentioned that there was no job after the group ended, and the production unit found the wrong person to be a judge, but in fact they wanted "Adi Zai" instead of him, and finally asked him to compete. "At that time, the judges also met Wang Zhiping and Chen Zihong, who happened to be the previous producers, and the psychological pressure was even greater."

Ah Di loves singing. He recalled that his school used to hold a party and invited artists to perform. He was invited to the stage to sing a chorus. At that time, the female singer on the stage immediately asked him if he was interested in becoming a singer in the future. This female singer with a keen eye for heroes was the later golden song queen Peng Jiahui. Looking back on his acting career, Adi said: "From a singer to an actor and a variety show star, I can sing better only by tempering my mentality.
