A giant step towards energy independence! Osman Gazi was sent off to his place of duty

In his message, President Erdoğan said, "Osman Gazi is the first factory of Mavi Vatan. In 2027, one in three households will use domestic natural gas."

Highlights from President Erdoğan's statements are as follows: I pray to God that Osman Gazi Floating Production Platform will provide beneficial services to our country. Today, we are opening a brand new page in our energy history. We are sending Osmangazi off to the Black Sea. Osman Gazi Floating Production Platform is a floating energy castle. It will process the gas it receives from the wells purchased from the Sakarya gas field with 21 different units. It will be sent to Filyos through pipes laid under the submarine.

Our natural gas production in the Black Sea will double to 20 million cubic meters per day. Starting from the beginning of 2027, one in every 3 homes will use our domestic natural gas.

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar stated that Türkiye's first floating natural gas processing facility was sent off to Sakarya Gas Field, the place of duty of Osman Gazi.

Minister Bayraktar stated that in 2027, the floating production platform Osman Gazi will increase the gas production in the Sakarya field to 20 million cubic meters per day. Minister Bayraktar said, "Our goal is to light the fire of the Sakarya Gas Field in Osman Gazi's flame tower before the end of this year."
