NEWS CENTER - Here are the highlights from Erdoğan's speech: My dear nation, valuable members of our AK Party Women's Branch Presidency, our valuable neighborhood heads, my dear companions and cause companions, I greet you all with my most heartfelt feelings, respect and affection. I am very pleased to be with you at the opening of the consultation and evaluation meeting of women's branches and neighborhood heads. I send my greetings and love to you, from the main level to our provincial and district organizations, from our women's and youth branches to our neighborhood chairmen, and to all my female brothers and sisters who serve at different levels of our party. Again, through you, I send my most sincere love to all my brothers in our 81 provinces, as well as in different corners of our civilization geography and all over the world, who have devoted their hearts to the AK Party, worked for this cause, and devoted their efforts, effort and effort to this blessed movement. I congratulate our Headquarters Women's Branch Presidency, who contributed to the organization of this valuable organization. I pray to God that the sessions to be held within the scope of the meeting will be eye-opening and that the findings and diagnoses here will produce productive, fruitful and hopefully beneficial results for all of us. Of course, I find it useful to state this in the simplest terms. Our AK Party women's branches make significant contributions to both our party and our country with both their hard work and institutional knowledge. Like other units of our party, it strengthens its communication with the field and the bridges of love it has built with our nation every day.
Our colleagues in our women's branch frequently meet with women and young people of all ages and from all segments of society through visits, meetings and meetings. Our district and neighborhood organizations are working with love, passion and a spirit dedicated to the cause, especially in order to win one more heart and gain another member of the large AK Party family with a population of 12 million. I would like to say this with great pride. As of today, the number of female members of our AK Party, please note, we have surpassed 6 million 214 thousand. I am proud of you. You are our everything, thank God. We will be united, we will be big, we will be alive, we will be Türkiye all together. In the last year and a half, 700 thousand more sisters have joined the AK Party family. Our party has become stronger, more fruitful and almost renewed its cells with our new members. Today, I would like to thank all the members of our Women's Branch Presidency, who signed this record, and all my colleagues with whom I walked the path, on the occasion of you. I pray that God will always preserve our unity, our solidarity, our commitment to our covenant, and our love that is as pure and dear as water.
"AK PARTY IS THE PARTY OF THE NATION"
Dear guests, my dear colleagues, today I am underlining once again an issue that I bring up frequently. AK Party, remember, is the party of the nation. The nation founded the AK Party. We only did the duty of hanging the sign of this party. The biggest share in our party's coming to this day belongs to our ladies and sisters with whom we set out on this path and founded this movement together. AK Party has achieved success with the efforts, labor, prayers and support of women who have been despised by the system, whose rights to education and work have been taken away, who have been excluded from the public sphere and whose future has been stolen. The uniform walls built by the tutelaries were destroyed by the struggle of the women who revived the AK Party, built this movement, and objected to the bad course of events.
"IGNORED WOMEN WERE MOVED TO THE CENTER AGAIN WITH THE AK PARTY"
Türkiye's determination for democracy has also been strengthened by the will of women fighting in the ranks of the AK Party. Women, who were ignored because of their beliefs, headscarves and attire, were brought to the center again with the AK Party. As the AK Party, we have been working hard since the first day to ensure that women have the strongest presence in every field. We have taken many steps to strengthen the status of women with the regulations we have made from education to politics, from social life to civil society. We put an end to this oppression and injustice by lifting the headscarf ban in public, which was a complete shame for our country.
"WE DETERMINED VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AS OUR RED LINE"
My brothers, today women successfully serve their state and nation in the bureaucracy, academia, local government, our police force and our army, without facing any pressure or prohibition. On the other hand, we have determined violence against women as our red line. We approached this issue with zero tolerance and implemented legal and administrative regulations one by one. Brothers and sisters, we did all this not as a favor, but because it was our duty. Because we are a movement that understands the importance of women for all of Türkiye and Türkiye's future. Because we are a party that knows what women have achieved and what they can achieve in the future, given the necessary opportunities. Likewise, we are a team that raises our bright children, who are the guarantee of our future, preserves our family structure, which is the basis of society, and knows that women are the strongest link that carries our nation to the future along with our values. We know very well the meaning and abundance that women bring to our lives as mothers, children, sisters and wives.
"I REFER THE IMMORALS WHO ATTACKED OUR PARTY TO THE DISCRETION OF OUR NATION"
Brothers and sisters, at this point I would like to express this with regret. Recently, some people have launched an attack campaign against our party, taking advantage of the negative events in which we have clearly stated our stance. Based on individual examples, they adopted an extremely ugly, extremely irresponsible attitude that also targeted our values. They are trying to falsely implicate millions of our people. They are trying every way to tarnish this pure movement, which is as white and pure as its name. I again leave these immoral people, who use every opportunity they get as an attack against the most basic rights of women, for which they fight and pay the price, to the discretion of our nation. Our nation, with its foresight and wisdom, already sees what is intended to be done. As always, we do not pay any premium to them, we just mind our business. I expect you to continue working for both our party and our nation, regardless of these.
The fortune and path of this movement are clear with God's permission. Just as we left our mark on the last 25 years of Türkiye, we will hopefully leave our mark on the next quarter century and the next 100 years. AK Party and the People's Alliance will continue on their way stronger. With God's permission, with the support and blessings of our nation, and with your efforts, we will serve this country and this nation for many more years. I ask you to never forget that I am proud of you, that I trust you, and that I am always honored to walk the road with you. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your efforts, efforts and sacrifices. I pray that God will help us.
