The knife-wielding suspect was neutralized by the police in Esenler

Esenler District Police Department teams and market and neighborhood guards warned the person who ran to the point where they were working on Turgutreis District Karaosmanoğlu Street with a knife in his hand and said "Stop".

The suspect, who did not comply with the warnings and continued to advance towards the teams, was neutralized by the intervention of the police with a gun.

The injured suspect was taken to the hospital after first aid by medical teams. The market and neighborhood watchman was also slightly injured during the incident.

During the investigation, it was determined that the suspect S.Ş. (45) had a record of various crimes, especially "deliberate injury and extortion".
