Horror in Eskişehir: He killed the person he was arguing with in the middle of the street

The incident took place on Yunus Emre Street in Kurtuluş District of Odunpazarı district. Allegedly, an argument broke out between Abdülkadir Çelik and Muratcan Altun for an unknown reason.

As the argument escalated into a fight, Çelik started chasing Altun with the shotgun next to him. Altun, shot by Çelik, was shot in the chest and seriously injured. Çelik fled the scene. Upon the notice of the surrounding people, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Muratcan Altun, who was seriously injured, died in the ambulance despite all the interventions of the teams.

Eskişehir Police Department Public Order Branch teams determined that the suspect Çelik was at his house, approximately 50 meters away from the scene. Çelik, who was caught during the operation carried out at his home, was taken into custody.

Çelik, who claimed that he threw the shotgun into an empty lot, was taken out of the house accompanied by police teams to show the place where he threw the gun. Çelik said to the journalists who filmed him, "Am I going to end up on the internet? Move on, brother, this is your job too. He deserved it, brother, it was necessary." No rifle was found in the searches made at 3 different points indicated by Çelik. The gun was seized at the suspect's home.

On the other hand, the moments when Abdülkadir Çelik chased Altun on the street and shot him were recorded with a mobile phone camera by a person who heard the sounds in the area.

The footage showed the moments when Abdülkadir Çelik chased Muratcan Altun with a shotgun and Altun collapsed to the ground after being shot. Muratcan Altun's body was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy. Abdülkadir Çelik was detained and taken to the police station.
