Explosion in a jewelry company, five involved, none serious

Five people were involved in an explosion at the Dot Manifattura in Valenza (Alessandria). Based on the initial information gathered, none of them are in serious conditions and the explosion would have been caused by titanium dust used in the processing of precious materials.

As announced in a note by the Central 118 press office, one person refused transport, two were transferred, under green code, to the hospital in Alessandria with minor burns; the same number, always with the same code, at the 'Santo Spirito' of Casale Monferrato for smoke inhalation. Firefighters and police were also on site.
