[Reporter Zhuo Yijun/Taipei Report] Uni-President Investment Trust announced today that in order to lower the investment threshold and further improve liquidity, the overseas ETF stock king Uni-President FANG+ETF (00757) will hold a beneficiary meeting on December 3 to decide whether to initiate a fund split. If the division case is successfully passed, 00757 will use the net value of the foundation on the day of approval at the beneficiary meeting as the basis, and use the largest integer multiple of the net value per unit not less than the issuance price of 20 yuan as the actual division multiple. According to current price estimates, after the split is completed, the price required to buy a piece of 00757 will be reduced to about 20,000 yuan, which will be beneficial to investors in asset allocation and petty bourgeoisie to layout the US stock market.

Uni-President Investment said that the strong performance of technology giants in the past few years has become the driving force and main support for the growth of U.S. stocks. The constituent stocks of Unified FANG+ETF (00757) select the top ten technology giants, including Huida, Broadcom, Micron, Palantir, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, META, Netflix, and Apple, and adopt a quarterly equal weight rebalancing mechanism. Since its establishment at the end of November 2018, the net value of 00757 has risen sharply from the initial 20 yuan to 145.76 yuan on October 8. In order to facilitate the allocation of investors' funds and bring the transaction price back to a more affordable range, a beneficiary meeting will be held to decide whether to split.

The split multiple of 00757 is currently estimated to be 7 times, but the actual split multiple needs to be confirmed based on the net value after the split on the day the beneficiary meeting is approved. The net value per unit will be close to but not lower than the issue price of 20 yuan. Fund split only reduces the unit price, and the number of units originally held by the beneficiary will increase accordingly, leaving the value of the fund assets held unchanged.

Uni-President Investment Trust pointed out that as long as investors buy and hold 00757 before October 30 (including that day), they can participate in this split vote. Uni-President Investment is expected to send the meeting notice and voting votes for the 00757 split case beneficiary meeting on November 12. Investors can choose to vote electronically or in writing without attending the beneficiary meeting in person. The electronic voting period is from November 13 to November 30 at 23:59 p.m., and the written voting deadline is November 30 at 4:30 p.m. Uni-President Investment Trust will entrust Uni-President Securities to handle the relevant verification, invoicing and statistical operations of the beneficiary meeting. After the statistics are completed, the voting results will be announced the next day.
