The case regarding the death of 29-year-old Oğuz Murat Aci in Eyüpsultan on March 1, 2024, when the vehicle under the control of unlicensed driver Timur Cihantimur, who was 17 years old at the time, crashed into 3 ATV type vehicles parked on the roadside due to a malfunction, continued to be heard. While the defendant Cihantimur, who is detained in the USA, whose extradition process has not yet been completed, did not attend the hearing held at the Gaziosmanpaşa 4th High Criminal Court, the complainants Özer and Pervin Aci and the lawyers of the parties were present. At the hearing, statements were taken from witnesses who witnessed the accident during the incident.

"I remember lying on the ground, I don't remember exactly what happened after that moment," he said.

Witness Süleyman Keçici stated that the ATV vehicle broke down after refueling on the forest road and said, "We tried to repair the vehicle. The forest was dark, the late Oğuz Murat Aci turned his vehicle to provide light to the oncoming vehicles, so that they would notice. One or two vehicles had passed us before the accident. They slowed down because they saw the light, and one vehicle even stopped and wanted to help. After that vehicle passed, we saw a vehicle on the bend and they hit us. I fainted during the accident and fell a little below the cliff. "I went out with my effort. My friend named İbrahim Gümüş came to me. Our friend named Tahsin was under a car. After taking Tahsin out, I noticed that Oğuz was not around. I looked at where I fell and Aci was lying on his side. Then the medical teams came."
Complainant Pervin Aci said to witness Süleyman Keçici, "You said to a lady, 'Can you take me out?', and the lady said, 'Thorns will prick my feet.' Is this statement true?" He asked the question: Witness Keçici answered the question by saying, "I told everything I remembered. There is no such statement in my statements. Nothing like this happened."
The Public Prosecutor asked the witness about the time between the vehicle entering the curve and hitting the complainants. Witness Keçici said, "Everything happened within 2 seconds. I think he came at a speed of 120-130 kilometers at first."
TİMUR CİHANTİMUR'S LAWYER OFFERED AN AGREEMENT TO THE COMPLAINTS IN EXCHANGE OF COMPENSATION
The defendant's lawyers claimed that there was a contradiction between the statements of the witnesses and that the complainants were at fault in the accident, and requested an additional report regarding the accident.
