Speaking at the summit, the Russian leader noted that truly radical geopolitical, geo-economic, technological and social transformations are now taking place on the world stage. “Many things are changing, and first of all, the way of life of a person, the level of medicine and the quality of the environment,” the agency quotes Putin as saying.

The President also emphasized that the structure of society and the demographic map of the world are being transformed. “The unipolar system of international relations, which served a narrow group of countries, is becoming a thing of the past. The balance of power is being redistributed in favor of new growth centers in the global South and East,” he said.
