A German Air Force plane performed maneuvers near the borders of the Kaliningrad region

According to the data studied, at approximately 10.06 Moscow time, a German Air Force plane took off from the airport in the city of Schleswig in northern Germany and headed to the northeast. Having reached approximately the middle of the Baltic Sea, it abruptly changed direction and headed towards the Kaliningrad region and began circling near the coast.

In recent years, Russia has seen unprecedented NATO activity along its western borders. The alliance is expanding initiatives and calling it "containment of Russian aggression." Moscow has repeatedly expressed concern about the buildup of alliance forces in Europe. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the authorities in Moscow remain open to dialogue with NATO, but on an equal basis, while the West must abandon the course of militarizing the continent.
