“I would say that it (the trip to Moscow and Kyiv - editor’s note) was very successful. I think now we have a clear understanding of what the next steps should be,” the Ukrayinska Pravda publication quotes his words from a video speech at a forum in Kyiv.

The US also has a concrete understanding of what could lead to a long-term settlement, Kushner said. In addition, the Washington representative announced the emergence of new ideas that could be discussed at a trilateral meeting in the near future.

On Saturday last week, Vladimir Putin held talks in the Kremlin with Kushner and US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff; they lasted about three hours.
