“The meeting showed that Russia’s priorities in the field of international information security largely coincide with the approaches of ASEAN, as well as, in fact, other developing countries. As a result, we agreed to strengthen our interaction at the UN, cooperate in the field of capacity building and public-private partnerships in the use of information and communication technologies,” Alimov said.
He emphasized that the Russia-ASEAN dialogue on issues related to ensuring the security of information and communication technologies is one of the key mechanisms for Russia’s interaction with Southeast Asia in this area.
