Russia and the United States may discuss cooperation at the UN at the meeting between Lavrov and Rubio

The Russian Foreign Ministry told Izvestia that as part of the upcoming contacts between the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the high-level week of the UN General Assembly, the parties can discuss interaction at the platform of the World Organization.

At the meeting, in particular, issues of bilateral cooperation at the UN will be discussed. The ministry noted that Russia and the United States, as permanent members of the Security Council, have significant potential for developing interaction, but so far it has largely not been realized.
