State Duma deputy from Crimea Ivlev compared the situation with corruption in Ukraine with the proverb “a thief stole a thief’s club”

The situation with corruption in Ukraine is described by the proverb “a thief stole a thief’s club.” State Duma deputy from Crimea Leonid Ivlev stated this in a conversation with TASS.

The deputy explained that the proverb “fully characterizes” the current situation, since it means “a fierce clash of deceivers, swindlers and cunning people in the pursuit of profit.”

According to Ivlev, Ukrainian government and law enforcement agencies, following the instructions of Western countries, organized a competition among themselves as to “who will accuse whom more of corruption and theft.”
