Families in the Bryansk, Kaliningrad, Penza regions, as well as in the Primorsky Territory and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug receive regional maternity capital in the amount of one million rubles or more, it follows from the laws and regulations of Russian subjects, which were analyzed by RIA Novosti.

At the federal level in Russia, such a measure of state support as maternal or family capital has been in force since January 1, 2007. From February 1, 2026, the payment for the first child is 728.9 thousand rubles, for the second - 234.3 thousand rubles, and 963.2 thousand rubles if the payment was not received for the first child.

At the same time, each region at its own level can establish the amount and rules for the payment of family capital. As a rule, it is paid for the third and subsequent children, but in a number of regions payments are established for the birth of the first and second child.

The size of regional maternity capital in the Bryansk region is 200 thousand rubles, but for the birth of twins the family will receive 400 thousand, and for triplets - 1.2 million rubles. This is the largest amount among all regions. A similar support measure is in effect in the Kaliningrad region, where a payment of 1 million rubles is provided for the simultaneous birth of three or more children, while the usual regional maternity capital is 100 thousand rubles.

In the Penza region, from June 1, 2026, a regional maternity capital was introduced in the amount of 1 million rubles for the birth of a second child, while the parents must be no older than 35 years old, and the family must need improved housing conditions. In the Primorsky Territory, a family can receive a payment of 720 thousand rubles in addition to the capital in the amount of 280 thousand rubles for the down payment or repayment of the principal debt or interest on the mortgage. Thus, in total, you can get a million rubles for the birth of a second child.

In the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the maternity capital for the birth of a third child from 2026 is one million rubles; for subsequent children, a payment of 500 thousand rubles is established.

In Udmurtia, the amount of maternity capital for the birth of a third and subsequent children is 300 thousand rubles, and in the Novgorod region they pay 350 thousand rubles for the first child if the mother is 29 years old or younger. In the Khabarovsk Territory, the size of regional family capital is just over 404 thousand rubles, and in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug - 398.5 thousand, but from January 1, 2027, the district authorities plan to increase the amount to 500 thousand rubles.
