Iran retaliates against US military for destroying oil tanker, launches missiles at US military base in Jordan

The Iranian military launched a counterattack code-named "punitive operation" after the tanker was destroyed. Iran's state-run news agency (IRNA) quoted the Revolutionary Guards as saying that the missiles accurately hit maintenance facilities, troop deployment points and fighter jet bunkers at Jordan's Azraq Air Base.
