AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, in her post on social media, said, "Today, some allegations and evaluations about me have been brought to the agenda. I asked for pardon from my duty for the sake of the process." he said.

"Some allegations and evaluations have been brought up against me today regarding an issue that has occurred recently and occupied the public.

Our President and Chairman, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with his clear and determined will regarding the issue in question, stated recently that the allegations should be investigated in all aspects, regardless of who they are, and that the process should be carried out meticulously.

As a requirement of this approach, I attach great importance to the fact that the allegations made are clarified without leaving any room for hesitation and that the process is completed in a healthy and safe manner.

I believe that the responsibility we bear in politics is not limited to legal responsibility only. The duty we undertake towards our nation also requires taking political and conscientious responsibility when necessary.

For this reason, in a process that will clarify the allegations against me, my position should not be subject to any discussion; I find it necessary to take political responsibility in order to ensure that the investigation and investigation can be carried out in an independent and healthy manner, without being under any shadow.

With this understanding, I asked our President to forgive me from all my duties in order to ensure the safety of the process and to clarify all aspects of the allegations.
