Michael Kretschmer: Germany's participation in the conflict in Ukraine is a mistake

Germany made a big mistake by becoming a party to the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the German federal state of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, in an interview with the newspapers Süddeutsche Zeitung and Leipziger Volkszeitung.

“This is not our war. We have always said that we should not become a party to the conflict. I would say that we have already become one for a long time. This is a huge mistake,” he said.

However, at the same time, the prime minister spoke in favor of the further development of the defense industry in Saxony.
