On the same floor of the pig house in the building, there are piglets that are about 75 days old and sows that are about to give birth. According to Zhang Menglong, the person in charge of the center, this is the fourth-generation building breeding model of "one floor, one entire line" currently adopted by the center. Compared with the first generation, it has a higher biosafety factor. "The pigs spend their entire lives on this floor, and there is no need to move up and down (stairs)."

Why promote building farming? Zhang Menglong said that compared with traditional tiled pig houses, building breeding can greatly improve land use efficiency and can form five independent safety islands of park-building-floor-unit-pen to reduce biosecurity risks, better promote intensification, and improve the work efficiency of intelligent equipment.

At present, the pig house has a variety of intelligent equipment, including a four-layer air filtration system that can accurately ventilate, an intelligent inspection robot that continuously detects multiple growth indicators of pigs 24 hours a day, intelligent feeding that can achieve precise supply and measurement, and a pig cough steward that can monitor pig coughs, sneezes and other sounds around the clock to provide early warning of abnormalities in the pig respiratory tract and carry out precise intervention.

Wang Liusong, algorithm engineer of the Digital Intelligence Department of Muyuan Food Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Muyuan Group"), is one of the developers of Zhuqun Cough Butler. He studied artificial intelligence, acoustic algorithms and other fields during his graduate studies. It is reported that Muyuan Group currently uses more than 3.3 million sets of various smart equipment, which can generate 2 billion pieces of data every day and upload it to the company's information system in real time. Currently, the company has cooperated with other companies to build a large model of pig farming, transforming traditional "experience pig farming" into "data pig farming."

"Maybe people didn't know much about it before, so they didn't think that a traditional industry like pig raising would use artificial intelligence." In Wang Liusong's view, with the development of China's digital technology, all walks of life are integrating with artificial intelligence and continue to become digital. He said that applying emerging technologies to traditional industries is an inevitable trend, and traditional industries will slowly transform and become greener and smarter.

Qin Jiangtao, head of the core plant of Muyuan Group's breeding pig department, said that the current highly intelligent breeding will encourage universities to cultivate more comprehensive talents.
