Stating that Kuçuradi's father was a pharmacist and that he wanted his daughter to be a pharmacist, Çotuksöken said that despite this, he never gave up on philosophy.

Çotuksöken said, "He worked very meticulously. He had a great sensitivity to language. He knew many foreign languages, but he paid special attention to Turkish." He also explained his teacher's sensitivity regarding language with his words.

Speaking at the farewell ceremony for Kuçuradi, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik said:

"As the teacher of this age, he showed us the way. One of the most valuable teachers that those who are in search of values will find for themselves is our teacher Kuçuradi. Whenever we talk about humans and try to establish a bond between humans and value relations, his guidance will always be a guide for us."

WHO IS IOANNA KUÇURADI?

Kuçuradi was born on October 4, 1936, in Istanbul. She graduated from Zapyon Girls' High School in 1954 and Istanbul University Department of Philosophy in 1959. He received his doctorate in 1965. He worked at Erzurum Atatürk University between 1965 and 1968. He became an associate professor in 1970 and a professor in 1978.

He founded the Department of Philosophy at Hacettepe University in 1969 and served as the head of the department until his retirement in 2003. He has been the Director of the Human Rights and Philosophy Application and Research Center of the same university since 1997 and the holder of the UNESCO Chair established within this Center.

Kuçuradi, who is the president of the Turkish Philosophical Association, also held various positions in the International Federation of Philosophical Societies and served as the president of the federation.

Kuçuradi, who worked in the fields of philosophy, ethics, human rights and values, took part in various national and international organizations.
