Fenerbahçe Club announced that the decision to ban the En-Nesyri transfer was made due to non-payment of the transfer fee and that the transfer ban will be lifted by paying the debt on Monday.

"Information to the public

We would like to inform our fans and the public about the news in the press regarding the FIFA transfer ban about our Club.

The three-term transfer ban imposed on our club is temporary and is related to the transfer fee of Youssef En Nesyri, who joined our team in the 2024-2025 season.

Due to the non-payment of the transfer installment dated 30 April 2026 regarding the football player's transfer fee, the relevant club took action before FIFA, and our management paid the delayed installment after taking office. In the lawsuit filed by the relevant club before FIFA, payment of the next installment was requested, and we waited for FIFA's decision for payment.

Our club will make the payment determined by the FIFA decision on the first working day (Monday) and the transfer ban will be lifted after the bureaucratic procedures at FIFA are completed.

In addition, all financial statements and liabilities for the past period will be shared transparently with our Congress Members and the public at our Ordinary General Assembly to be held tomorrow (September 27, 2026).
