He signed for Fenerbahçe: Statement from Emre Belözoğlu about Dirk Kuyt

He appointed Emre Belözoğlu to the position of coach vacated by İsmail Kartal in Fenerbahçe. The yellow-dark blue team held a signing ceremony for Belözoğlu.

Emre Belözoğlu's statements are as follows:

"Being here is not a foreign excitement for me. It was a jersey that I dreamed of when I was a child. I grew up remembering the names of the legends of the 103-goal season. God granted me the opportunity to wear the jersey of such a plane tree, to be its sports director and, even for a short time, to be its coach. I am returning home once again. I am aware of the expectations."

"I CAME TO DO MY BEST WITHOUT THE EMRE OF 5 YEARS AGO"

"Aware of my responsibility, I have come to do my best as a much different Emre, knowing that I have improved myself by not being the Emre of 5 years ago. I hope we will be successful together. I would like to thank our president and managers who believed and trusted me. I would like to thank Kasımpaşa Club for their convenience. They will always have a different place in my life."

LIVERPOOL MATCH

"It was a perfect win. Our community and our players needed it. I just went to meet them, shared my ideas about our community and our club for 15-20 minutes. Kuyt coach and his team prepared our players. I am afraid of disrespecting them. It would not be right to say that I had a share in the match they won with their work. I was in the stands that day, I had a share like a fan, nothing more. The important thing was that Fenerbahçe reacted."

WILL DIRK KUYT CONTINUE, WHO WILL BE IN HIS TEAM?

"There is an evaluation process. Our club will make the necessary statement. We will announce it as soon as possible.

Our club will announce my team. There will be 12-13 people. There are 6 pro licensed players, truly well-equipped in their respective branches, over 100 elite-level coaches or those who have been involved in the business, and who have served both in national teams and important clubs. We will have a Spanish supporter who has previously assisted great coaches. It looks like we will be 12-13 people. We have established a strong team that is both strong and aware of the responsibility of the community and will protect the privacy of Samandıra. I hope we won't be embarrassed."

"THE TREND IS WITH GAME, SPEED AND QUALITY"

"I know what our community and our fans want. Passion and quality are clear criteria for Fenerbahçe, the combination of the two is Fenerbahçe. I will have players who will reflect the passion on the field. There is a lot of quality in the squad. I know what the game our community wants is, I also know that I have to play it as soon as possible. We will act quickly. The trend game is with speed and quality. I know how the road to the cups is. I have full faith in implementing it."
