Three more suspects are detained in the investigation of the armed attack on Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca

Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca was injured in his left leg in an armed attack in Fethiye's Akarca District on May 23. Mayor Karaca, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance, was discharged after treatment.

Muğla Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams examined the surrounding security camera footage.

THREE PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED

It was determined that the attacker E.T.Ç. came to Fethiye by bus from Istanbul on May 20, reconnoitred the scene at the bus terminal exit, and fled to Bodrum by taxi after the attack.

The teams determined that the attacker was T.D. He determined that he was hiding in Koyunbaba District of Bodrum. Two suspects were caught in the operation carried out at around 03:00 on May 24.

Deepening the investigation, the teams detained H.N., who paid the fare for the taxi that carried the attacker from Fethiye to Bodrum and who was found to have come from Istanbul to Bodrum with a vehicle with license plate 34, at 04.45 on the same day in Milas.
