FIFA vice-president Sandor Csanyi withdraws support for Gianni Infantino

The president of the Hungarian Football Federation and vice-president of FIFA (one of the eight in total) Sandor Csanyi announced in a letter his intention to withdraw his support for the president of the world football governing body, Gianni Infantino, who has been at the center of a storm for months over the project, then abandoned, to sell shares of the world championship to private investors.

"I have lost the trust previously placed" in Fifa no. 1, writes Csanyi in the document addressed to Infantino, "due to decisions that serve political interests rather than those of football".
