Sultans of the Net guaranteed to participate in the 2027 World Cup

Our National Women's Volleyball Team reached the semi-finals of the European Championship and guaranteed participation in the FIVB World Cup to be held in 2027.

The National Women's Volleyball Team, which beat Germany 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the Trendyol 2026 CEV European Championship and advanced to the semi-finals, gained the right to participate in the 2027 FIVB World Cup.

Türkiye remained among the last 4 teams in the European Championship with its victory against Germany. With this result, the national team also guaranteed the right to compete in the 2027 World Cup.

According to the status, the teams that take the "top 3 places" in the European Championship will have the right to participate in the 2027 World Cup.

Italy, which is among the four teams that advanced to the semi-finals, will directly participate in the 2027 World Cup as it is the last champion.

In addition to Türkiye, which is guaranteed to participate in the World Cup due to Italy's direct participation in the organization, Serbia and Poland, which will compete in the semi-finals of the 2026 CEV European Championship, will also take part in the 2027 World Cup.

The World Cup will be organized in the USA and Canada between 20 August and 5 September 2027.
