On Wednesday morning, a FlyDubai plane signaled an emergency and some time later made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. The initial version heard in many media was a possible hijacking or hijacking of the plane, but after landing this version was ruled out. The airline later confirmed that the plane landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, noting that a fight broke out between the pilots during the flight.

“The plane signaled 7700, then 7500, and then 7700 again,” says a publication on the service’s website.

According to Flightradar24, at 5.28 UTC (8.28 Moscow time), the plane, flying along the border between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, sounded the 7700 signal, indicating an emergency. At 5.35 UTC (8.35 Moscow time) the signal changed to 7500 - the aircraft hijack code. The plane then turned west, briefly entered Jordanian airspace, after which it made a 180-degree turn and headed southwest towards Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
