Critical arrest in fund robbery: Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya could not hold back her tears

There has been a new development in the fund investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Former Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, her husband İlyas Kaya and former Capital Markets Board (CMB) Chairman İbrahim Ömer Gönül, who were called to testify for the second time within the scope of the investigation, came to the courthouse.

Following the proceedings at the prosecutor's office, Kaya was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest on charges of "opposition to the Capital Markets Law" and "being a member of an organization established for the purpose of committing crimes". The judgeship decided to arrest Kaya.
