UFSM graduate uses audio from family members as the soundtrack for her graduation and excites her on social networks

A graduate from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), in the Central Region of Rio Grande do Sul, decided to innovate in choosing the soundtrack for the moment her name was announced at the graduation ceremony.

Instead of opting for a famous song, Manoela Valau Teixeira, 23 years old, did something different: she gathered audios she received from family members and created her own "song". The special gesture was recorded by her parents, Juçara and Daniel Teixeira, and has already received more than 90 thousand views on social media.

"I thought of something that would make sense for the rest of my life, and nothing more fitting than their audios. My family is very present, very loving, and very blessed. And we, both my brother and I, receive audios from them daily", he says.

The celebration was double, as Manoela graduated from the Animal Science course on August 8, just four days after her birthday.

In total, the young woman collected six audios. The montage begins with his mother. come the audios of the father, grandmothers, paternal grandfather and brother. It ends with an excerpt from a song by singer João Gomes.

“They were on my side throughout the process, they are always on my side in different processes in my life, so nothing more fair”, he highlights.

The audio was a surprise for the relatives, who only discovered it when they heard their own voices coming from the speakers. Manoela only warned her friends to prevent them from clapping and celebrating too loudly, which could end up drowning out the audio.

"When the audios started playing, at first they were shocked, which is what they reported. It was a mix of emotions and my grandmother, who says in the audio that she doesn't understand much about the phone, picked it up and said to my mother: 'How come Daniel is here and talking into the microphone?'

In the caption of the video publication, the parents share the emotion of receiving their daughter's honor.

"We never imagined that those words sent every day, with so much love, care and desire to see you move forward, would one day come back to us in that way, precisely in one of the most important moments of your life", they say.
