Una scelta, quella annunciata da Macron, che trova gli USA d’accordo visto che da Washington erano arrivate critiche sull’uso delle riserve da parte dei principali Paesi europei. Di questo si è parlato nella puntata di “Numeri”, il programma di Sky TG24 andato in onda il 2 ottobre 2026.
L’AUMENTO DEI PREZZI DEI BARILI
Dall’inizio della guerra in Iran i prezzi di benzina e gasolio sono notevolmente aumentati, attestandosi rispettivamente poco sopra i 2 euro e i 2,2 euro.
GLI SCONTI
Ad oggi diverse pompe di benzina hanno iniziato ad applicare sconti e sono circa una su tre ad applicarli: gli sconti di Eni sono presenti su quasi tutto il territorio nazionale; per Ip e Q8 sono in circa un terzo mentre Esso è ancora alla fase iniziale. Tamoil, invece, lo ha appena annunciato e l’adeguamento è in corso.

Eni inoltre ha annunciato uno sconto carburanti extrarete del 20% fino al 31 ottobre per tutti quei veicoli a uso agricolo e per la pesca.

La decisione dell’Europa di rilasciare parte delle sue riserve strategiche fa sicuramente felici gli Stati Uniti, che da febbraio sono stati il Paese che ha visto le sue riserve scendere di più, di circa il 32%.

Il presidente dell’AIE Faith Birol lo aveva detto chiaramente alcuni giorni fa, sottolineando come una parte importante dei barili fosse ancora nelle riserve.

Da marzo, secondo alcune fonti, sarebbero stati rilasciati a livello mondiale 400 milioni di barili di petrolio.

Di questi, però, 260 milioni sarebbero stati effettivamente rilasciati, mentre 140 milioni ancora no.

Dei 260 milioni rilasciati 172 milioni proverrebbero dagli USA; circa 60 milioni dal Giappone e 12 milioni, invece, dalla Corea del Sud. Resta una parte residuale di Paesi, che hanno inviato, invece, scorte più piccole.

Tra questi c’è l’Unione europea, che ha rilasciato da marzo circa 35 milioni di barili.
L’AUMENTO DEL PREZZO DEL GAS
In aumento anche il prezzo del gas, che per i clienti vulnerabili ha raggiunto 1,6 euro al metro cubo nel mese di settembre 2026: è il prezzo più alto degli ultimi anni, superiore anche a quello di dicembre 2022, successivo all’invasione dell’Ucraina.
