Mega winner mobilizes pool of 80 people for Lotofácil da Independência: 'We are very confident'

The organizer of the pool lives in Sorocaba (SP), has already won R$1.65 million in Mega-Sena with nine other friends and has now brought together residents of Capela do Alto, Araçoiaba da Serra and Tatuí (SP) for the Lotofácil da Independência.

A group of 80 bettors from the Sorocaba and Itapetininga region invested almost R$30,000 in Lotofácil da Independência 2026.

The draw for contest 3780 will be this Tuesday (15th), starting at 9pm. The estimated prize is R$300 million.

The organizer of the pool has already won R$1.65 million in Mega-Sena. It brought together residents of Capela do Alto, Araçoiaba da Serra and Tatuí.

Each participant paid R$340. With the R$27,000 raised, games of 19 and 20 tens were purchased.

Encouraged by a Mega-Sena winner, a group of 80 people from cities in the region of Sorocaba and Itapetininga (SP) bet almost R$30,000 in this year's Lotofácil da Independência. The special contest, number 3,780, will take place this Tuesday (15th), starting at 9pm, with a prize estimated at R$300 million.

g1 broadcasts the draw live. It was scheduled for 11am, but was postponed by Caixa.

The bettor who organized the prize pool is from Sorocaba (SP), but preferred not to identify himself. He claims that he has already won a Mega-Sena prize before, along with nine other friends, worth R$1.65 million. Therefore, more people became interested in participating in betting.

"Normally, we would form a group with 10, 20 people. Then, due to the fact that we agreed on a prize, we ended up with 80 people in this group", he said.

The majority of bettors are from Capela do Alto, but residents of Araçoiaba da Serra, Tatuí, Sorocaba and even the capital of São Paulo also participate.

The quotas were R$340 for each participant. With the amount raised of R$27,000, they purchased 32 games of 20 tens and 20 games of 19 tens at lottery outlets in the region and also at one in Fortaleza, Ceará.

"In the last four years we have always hit 14 points in the Lotofácil de Independência, we were always one dozen short of the main prize. Today we are very confident that there will be at least one hit with 15 dozens. The probability of hitting 15 dozens is high, given the amount of games", said the bettor.

Does the Lotofácil da Independência prize accumulate?

No. One of the main features of Lotofácil da Independência is that the main prize does not accumulate.

If there is no bet with the 15 numbers drawn, the amount allocated to the main bracket is distributed among the winners of the next bracket, in accordance with the rules of the sport.

Therefore, the special contest tends to attract the attention of bettors every year, mainly due to the high value of the prize.
