100 Bodies Recovered from the Debris in Gaza were Buried

The bodies of 100 people were found within the scope of the second phase of the project carried out by Gaza Civil Defense teams, which focuses on removing bodies from the rubble of houses destroyed in Israeli attacks.

The second phase, launched on July 19, envisages work being carried out in 147 collapsed buildings in the north and center of Gaza. It is estimated that 1072 people are still under the rubble in these regions. It was stated that there were approximately 60 children among the bodies recovered in Zeytun.

The bodies were lined up side by side among the destroyed houses and wrapped in Palestinian flags. Thousands of people attended the ceremony and a funeral prayer was performed before the bodies were buried in the Ehli Baptist Cemetery. However, the work is carried out under extremely difficult conditions.
