Panic in the sky: A hijack alarm was given, the plane made an emergency landing

According to India Today newspaper, citing sources, Ahmedabad Air Traffic Control Center received an emergency signal from flight AI 2030 around 09:00 local time, which lasted for a few minutes.

Following the signal, security units were informed.
