'It's time for reckoning for the murderers of Mezdeke Aynur'

The incident took place in Şişli district of Istanbul. The first hearing of the case regarding the murder of Aynur Kanbur, a member of the dance group 'Mezdeke', who lost her life in an armed attack in front of her house 10 years ago, will be held at the 9th High Criminal Court of the Istanbul Palace of Justice.

"HARD LIFE imprisonment" WAS REQUESTED FOR 4 DEFENDANTS

According to the news in DHA, aggravated life imprisonment was requested for the defendants Bülent Gündüz, Fazlı Kar, Serdar Kar and Yüksel Kar for the crime of "premeditated murder", while a prison sentence of 2 to 4 years was also requested for Gündüz for the crime of "possession of an unlicensed weapon".

THE INCIDENT WAS EXPLAINED IN THE INDICTMENT

In the indictment, it was stated that Bülent Gündüz boarded the metrobus from Avcılar Metrobus stop at 19.01 on the day of the incident, got off at Mecidiyeköy at 19.47 and may have turned off his phone during the journey. It was evaluated that the clothes in the social media photos were similar to the coat of the suspect in the incident images, and the ear, face and nose structure were also compatible with Gündüz.

"THE LIFESTYLE IS CONTRARY TO FAMILY VALUES"

In his statement, Gündüz, who was stated to have confessed to the murder, stated that he decided to kill Kanbur because he found his lifestyle contrary to family values. It was reported that Gündüz, who had previously gone to Kanbur's address, walked to the building on the day of the incident, waited after seeing Kanbur on the balcony, and introduced himself as a cargo officer over the intercom.

HE FIRED 4 SHOTS FROM 2 STEPS DISTANCE

According to the indictment, Gündüz said that when Kanbur recognized him and started shouting, he fired 3-4 shots from a distance of approximately two steps. He then said that he went to his workplace in Hisarüstü by bus, and 2-3 days later, he threw the gun he used in the murder into the sea while going from Emirgan to Kanlıca.

MESSAGING DETAILS WITH SUSPECTS

Gündüz claimed that there was no one who instigated him. It was also stated that a discovery was made at the scene on June 11.

In the examination of the suspects' phone records, it was noted that Gündüz was in contact with Fazlı Kar and Serdar Kar, that Serdar Kar had his last call just before the murder, and that his phone was turned off until 10.13 the next day, and that he sent two messages to Gündüz during this period.

It was written that Yüksel Kar went to the USA three days before the incident, that he turned off his phone just before the murder, that there were no call records until noon the next day, and that he used GPRS extensively after the incident.
