The vice president of Ecological Transition promotes rectifications after the blackout of April 28, 2025

The vice president of Ecological Transition defends the extension of the Almaraz nuclear power plant after the blackout of April 28, 2025, arguing that it corrects an erroneous policy. He points out that neither the global commitments of Paris nor the emissions reductions are being met, despite progress in Europe and Spain in the electricity sector thanks to renewables and nuclear. It warns that transport and diffuse sectors remain problems and calls for further rectifications, including investments in networks and storage.
