Hana participates in a walk in Ver-o-Peso and presents proposals for tourism in Pará

Hana participated in a walk through one of the main tourist attractions in the capital of Pará, the Ver-o-Peso complex, in Belém. Accompanied by supporters, the candidate spoke to and greeted local shopkeepers and vendors at the beginning of the day.

During the agenda, she presented proposals for her government plan for the tourism sector, which aims to consolidate Pará as one of the main destinations in the Amazon and Brazil. Among the measures proposed by the candidate are the integration of the Port of Outeiro into the Amazon route that passes through Belém and Alter do Chão, in Santarém, in addition to increasing the frequency of international flights and opening new national and regional air routes.

The candidate also defended the modernization of the tourist police and highlighted the importance of public security for the development of the sector in the state.

"The tourist, when arriving here, needs to know what routes are offered to him around what he is looking for. We need to further strengthen this tourism economy, which in the next decade will be one of the biggest job generators in the world. And the state of Pará wants to be connected", he declared.

When finalizing the agenda, the MDB candidate reinforced that investments in the tourism sector have the main objective of generating direct benefits for the local economy and the quality of life of the people of Pará.

"So it's a series of actions that involve tourism, more than tourism, they involve improving the lives of our population, which is what interests us. The population having more jobs, having more income, and tourism is one of the strategies we are using", he concluded.
