Man with ankle bracelet is stabbed and attacked with helmet in Rorainópolis

The Military Police were called at around 6:30 pm, after receiving a report of aggression with a knife. Upon arriving at the address provided, the police were notified by residents that a man had been stabbed and left the area.

The team searched nearby and found the victim on a street. Upon noticing the vehicle approaching, the man tried to hide in a vacant lot and passed through the backyards of nearby properties, but was caught up by the police.

The team provided first aid and took the man to the Rorainópolis Regional Hospital. After the assistance, the police returned to the scene of the attack and obtained security camera footage from a commercial establishment.

In the recordings, a man appears arriving on a motorcycle and approaching the victim, who was sitting at a table. He then hits her forehead with a helmet, takes a knife from his waistband and stabs her in the back and neck. The suspect fled after the attack.

During the incident, police officers discovered that the man was wearing an electronic ankle bracelet and had a judicial restriction that prevented him from approaching a victim of domestic violence.

The Military Police searched to locate the suspect, but he was not found. The case was registered at the police station as attempted murder.
