Police investigate pastor on suspicion of sexual violence against young people in Greater SP

According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the young woman reported, in her statement, episodes of sexual violence since her adolescence. The case was registered at the Women's Defense Police Station (DDM) in Itaquaquecetuba.

According to the police report, the young woman reported several episodes of sexual violence. The first would have occurred in 2023, when she was 15 years old. At the time, pastor Fernando Peres de Sousa asked her what her lipstick tasted like and kissed her.

That same night, he sent a message asking her to download an app so they could chat. In the messages, according to the report, the pastor asked the color of the teenager's panties and pajamas.

After this episode, the young woman started to avoid the pastor. Months later, according to the report recorded in the police report, he looked for her again and said he was in love with her. On one occasion, in 2025, he allegedly asked the teenager to lie down on the altar and ran his hands over her body and private parts over her clothes.

The young woman also reported that the pastor took off her clothes and performed oral sex on her. According to the statement, she felt sick during the episode and asked him to stop.

At another time, according to the report recorded in the police report, the young woman was taken to the pastor's apartment, in Suzano, where sexual intercourse with vaginal penetration allegedly took place. She told the police that he said he loved her, that she was his sin and that he could end the church and the religious man's marriage.

In conversation with g1, the mother said that the pastor had known her daughter since she was 1 year old and had watched her grow. For her, the approaches happened gradually and intensified over the years.

"He started gradually. When [she] was 15 years old he kissed and waited to see if he would talk. In 2024 he threatened and committed in 2025. The rape itself was last year."

According to the mother, the pastor told the young woman that he would no longer do “that” to her when she turned 18. “He acted like an abuser acts.”

"When I found out, I went to the front of the church to talk to the neighbors and when I was talking, a guy came out of the church. At night he told the church volunteers to close it and sent a message that he was closing the church, but he didn't explain the reason. That was in September of this year."

According to the mother, the pastor also threatened to kill the young woman. The mother said that her daughter is trying to get back to her routine and is currently doing an internship. According to her, her grandfather takes the young woman to and from work. However, the mother claims that her daughter still faces anxiety attacks.

"She has several anxiety attacks and if she sees people in cars, she thinks it's him. Even if I say it's not him, she stamps her foot, cries. As she has asthma, she has a crisis and only gets back to normal with a pump."
