32-year-old man is shot three times in the chest and stomach in the Maracanã neighborhood

According to information provided by Lieutenant Colonel Wilton Chaves, commander of the 35th Military Police Battalion (35th BPM), Rodrigo was sitting in front of a residence when he was approached by the shooter. The suspect arrived at the scene on a motorcycle and fled shortly after firing the shots.

Security teams collected initial data on the dynamics of the incident. Among the lines found, one of the pieces of information indicates that the victim and the suspect were drinking alcohol together the day before the attack.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called to provide first aid. Rodrigo Cardoso Guimarães was rescued conscious, but in serious condition, and was immediately taken to hospital for medical care. The Civil Police are investigating the case to identify and locate the person responsible for the shooting.
