Man is hit in the face by a stray bullet on his way to work in RS

The case happened at a bus stop on Rua Olavo Bilac, in the Petrópolis neighborhood, close to a school. The attack occurred when students were arriving.

According to the Military Brigade (BM) — the Military Police of RS —, two men allegedly shot at young people who were at the bus stop. One of the shots hit the 35-year-old man, who was passing by the place at the time on his way to work.

He was rescued and hospitalized. According to information provided by the police, the man is not at risk of dying and is being treated as a victim of a stray bullet.

The two shooters and the young people who were the possible targets of the shooting fled. The Civil Police investigate the case and work to identify those involved.
