Man is sentenced to 28 years for killing ex-partner in Parnaíba; video shows crime

Marcos Gustavo Laviola Nobre was sentenced to 28 years in prison for the murder of Aline Vasconcelos Silva. The sentence took place this Wednesday (4).

According to the Public Ministry of Piauí, the crime occurred in April 2023 in Parnaíba. The defendant did not accept the end of the relationship with his ex-partner.

The victim was leaving work when he was approached at a gas station. A camera recorded the moment when Aline tried to get on a motorcycle.

Marcos approached armed and shot his ex-partner, who fell to the ground. The man fled the scene and was later arrested in Granja, Ceará.

Marcos' conviction was defined as feminicide and qualified homicide. The crime involved a base motive and a resource that made it impossible for the victim to defend himself.

A video from a security camera at the establishment recorded the crime. The images show Aline trying to get on the back of a motorcycle driven by another person.

Then, Marcos arrives armed and shoots the victim, who falls to the ground after the shots.

After the crime, Marcos fled the scene. According to the MPPI, Marcos was located and arrested in Granja, Ceará.

He was convicted of qualified homicide for a base motive, for the use of a resource that made it impossible for the victim to defend himself and for feminicide.
