Man arrested for attempted murder in Tarumã

According to the Civil Police, the crime took place in the early hours of Wednesday (4). The victim was hit by gunfire and initially taken to the Emergency Room at the Tarumã Health Complex. Due to the severity of the injuries, the patient needed to be transferred to the Regional Hospital (HR) of Assis (SP).

During the investigation, Civil Police teams located the suspect at his home. At the property, the man confessed to committing the crime and indicated the hiding place of the weapon used in the attack: a 32 caliber revolver loaded with six rounds of ammunition, five of which had already been fired.

The person being investigated was taken to the police station, where the police officer confirmed the arrest in the act and represented the court for the conversion into preventive detention. He was then taken to the region's Public Prison, where he remained at the disposal of the Court for a custody hearing.
