Man invades house, injures two people with a machete and dies in accident on BR-407, in Piauí

A man identified by the initials D.S. de S., aged 29, died in the early hours of this Friday (9) after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck on BR-407, in Paulistana, in the south of Piauí. According to the Military Police, before the accident, he had attacked two people with a machete.

According to the PM, the suspect broke into a residence in the center of Paulistana and injured a 30-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man with machete blows. After the attacks, he fled the scene on a motorcycle.

The woman reported to the police that she was at home with V.N. of C.S. when the suspect entered the property armed with a machete and started attacking them. She managed to escape by running down the street, while the attacker chased her for a distance before leaving the scene.
