L'adiacente Polo Tecnologico ospiterà tecnologie digitali e computazionali potenziando la capacità di calcolo, l'infrastruttura dati e i sistemi di intelligenza artificiale necessari a una ricerca sempre più guidata da dati clinico-sanitari.

Firmato dallo studio milanese di architettura Piuarch, il progetto prevede circa 56.000 metri quadrati di superficie lorda complessiva e lavori per un valore a base di gara di circa 235 milioni di euro. Verranno integrate soluzioni di ultima generazione per ridurre i consumi energetici e idrici, utilizzare fonti rinnovabili, e contenere l'impatto ambientale, tra cui un impianto fotovoltaico da oltre 400 kWp. Il progetto prevede circa 5.000 metri quadrati di verde, tra giardini, coperture verdi e spazi interni, e la messa a dimora di oltre 190 alberi.
