Houthis claimed that Saudi Arabia carried out an air strike on Taiz with F-15 aircraft

Yahya Seri, the military spokesman of the Houthis, claimed in his statement that Saudi Arabia's F-15 type warplane took off from Khamis Mushait Air Base today, headed towards Taiz and carried out 2 air strikes on the market in Mawiye district.

Seri stated that after leaving Taiz, the plane headed towards Cevf province and carried out 4 air strikes on Hub and al-Shaaf districts, and then returned to Khamis Mushayt Air Base.

Seri claimed that there was initial information that approximately 50 people were killed or injured in the attacks in Taiz.

Al-Mesira television channel, owned by the Houthis, claimed that 7 people, including 5 children, were killed and more than 40 people were injured in the air attacks on the shops in the market in Taiz's Mawiye district and around the radio building in the city.

"Camps and vehicles belonging to the Houthis were targeted"

Yemeni government forces announced that a camp and vehicles belonging to the Houthis were hit by air strikes in the Mawiya district, east of Taiz.

Government forces also reported that some Houthi positions, ammunition depots and military reinforcement convoys in the east and south of Taiz were targeted.

Government-affiliated Amalika Forces also shared that Houthi gathering areas and vehicles in the Kahbub region of Lahic city were bombed with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Homeland Shield Forces affiliated with the Yemeni government also announced that they carried out drone attacks against Houthi assembly points in Dali province.

Saudi Arabia has not yet made a statement regarding the air strikes that the Houthis claim were carried out today.
