Con questo corteo vogliamo riaccendere i riflettori sulla Palestina, che ultimamente si sono spenti", ha spiegato Maya Issa del Movimento degli studenti palestinesi in Italia, tra i promotori della mobilitazione. Hanno aderito anche la sezione giovanile del Movimento 5 Stelle, Potere al Popolo, il sindacato Usb, le organizzazioni studentesche Osa e Cambiare Rotta e altre realtà. "Siamo qui per chiedere che Israele venga isolata e boicottata. Ci devono essere sanzioni, così come è stato fatto con oltre 20 pacchetti di sanzioni contro la Russia", ha aggiunto Issa.

In testa al corteo uno striscione con la scritta "La fine del genocidio è la fine del sionismo". Subito dietro, un altro con la frase "7 ottobre giornata della Resistenza". Oltre a decine di bandiere palestinesi, tra i manifestanti sono state notate anche alcune bandiere di Hezbollah.
