WHO IS IBRAHIM PASHALI?

İbrahim Paşalı was born in Rize in 1973. He completed his primary school in Beyoğlu and his high school education in Üsküdar. He completed his higher education at the Department of Media and Communication.

İbrahim Paşalı's Journalism and Publishing Career

İbrahim Paşalı became known by preparing the radio program "Night Walk", which was broadcast on Istanbul Marmara FM for 15 years. Paşalı, who includes topics on Islamic civilization in his programs, is also known for his poem "Good Days Ahead".

Paşalı, who was a columnist in Milli Gazete for a while, also wrote in Yeni Şafak newspaper. Paşalı, who also worked in the fields of television management and programming, prepared and presented the program called "Makam Arabası" on TVNET.

Paşalı's first duty as trustee started at Flash News in March 2025. After the company was seized within the scope of the illegal betting and money laundering investigation against the channel's owner, Erkan Kork, Paşalı was appointed to the management of the channel. He also took part in the management of EkoTürk, which was taken under the management of SDIF within the scope of the Papara investigation.

Habertürk, Show TV and Bloomberg HT

After many media organizations, including Habertürk, Show TV and Bloomberg HT, were taken under SDIF management within the scope of the investigation against Can Holding, Paşalı's name was included in the new management of these companies.

On October 24, 2025, the day TELE1 Editor-in-Chief Merdan Yanardağ was detained within the scope of the "political espionage" investigation, a trustee was appointed to the management of the channel and İbrahim Paşalı was appointed as the head of the delegation. The arrest warrant for Yanardağ was issued on October 27, 2025.

After the trustee administration took office, the broadcast policy of the channel changed and many managers, programmers and writers left the institution.

It was reported that the person who met with the channel management on behalf of the trustee board was İbrahim Paşalı.
