While operations and trustee orders against media organizations in Turkey continued, the same name came up again in different investigations.
On the morning of October 14, police teams entered Halk TV's headquarters in Istanbul, the channel's broadcasts were stopped and a trustee was appointed to its management. İbrahim Paşalı, who previously served in the same position in many media organizations, was appointed as the head of the trustee board.
THE SAME NAME IS ALSO ON HALK TV
The name of Paşalı, a former Yeni Şafak writer who prepared and presented programs on TVNET, has become associated with trustee administrations rather than his journalism activities in the last two years.
With the latest appointment to Halk TV, Paşalı; After Flash Haber, EkoTürk, TELE1, Habertürk, Show TV and Bloomberg HT, he took on the role of trustee in the management of another television channel.

Paşalı's coming to the public agenda as trustee started with Flash News in March 2025.
Paşalı was appointed to manage the channel after the company was seized in the investigation of illegal betting and money laundering against Erkan Kork, the owner of Flash News.
Paşalı also took part in the management of EkoTürk, which later came under the management of SDIF within the scope of the Papara investigation.
HE ALSO ENTERED MANAGEMENT AT CAN MEDYA
After many media organizations, including Habertürk, Show TV and Bloomberg HT, were taken under SDIF management within the scope of the investigation against Can Holding, Paşalı's name was included in the new management of these companies.
Thus, the appointment of Paşalı in media organizations seized within the scope of different investigations became an increasingly recurring practice.
HE WAS ALSO APPOINTED AS TRUSTEE TO TELE1
Paşalı's next address was TELE1.
A trustee was appointed to the management of the channel on October 24, 2025, when TELE1 Editor-in-Chief Merdan Yanardağ was detained within the scope of the "political espionage" investigation. Pashali was again appointed as the head of the trustee board.
The arrest warrant for Yanardağ was given three days later, on October 27. While TELE1's broadcasting policy changed after the trustee administration took office, many managers, programmers and writers of the channel later left the institution.

About a year later, Paşalı's name emerged in the Halk TV operation.
Following the morning search at Halk TV's building in Istanbul, a trustee was appointed to the channel management by SDIF. It was reported that the person who met with the channel management on behalf of the trustee board was İbrahim Paşalı.
Thus, Halk TV was added to the list of media organizations in which Paşalı took part in the trustee management.
