Registration for 5,276 places in free technical courses at the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA) ends next Tuesday (15). The opportunities are for entry in 2027 and are distributed across 24 cities in Bahia.
There are vacancies for technical courses integrated into secondary education, aimed at those who have completed primary education, and for subsequent courses, aimed at those who have already completed secondary education. The registration fee is R$75.
Interested parties must register online by Tuesday. To participate, you must have your own CPF, including for those under 18, an exclusive account on the Gov.Br platform, active email, official document with photo and contact telephone number.
Those who do not have a computer or internet access can use the equipment available on the IFBA campuses or at the Rectory, in Salvador. It is necessary to check the opening hours in advance.
Courses integrated into high school
In total, there are 3,488 vacancies for technical courses integrated into high school. The modality is aimed at students who have completed elementary school.
In this format, the student completes secondary education along with technical professional training. The courses last three to four years.

Selection will be made through an objective test, scheduled for October 18, in all cities where the courses are offered.
The assessment will have 36 multiple-choice questions, with five alternatives each, in the areas of Natural Sciences, Human Sciences, Languages and Mathematics.
The final classification result is scheduled for November 16th. The call for verification panels will be made the following day. The final results of the exams and confirmation of enrollment are expected by December 8th.
Courses after high school
Another 1,788 places are allocated to technical courses following secondary education. Candidates who have already completed high school can apply.
The training lasts from one and a half to two years and is focused on specific knowledge of the chosen professional area.

The selection will be made through an electronic draw, scheduled for October 20th. The procedure will be broadcast on IFBA TV.
The draw will define the ranking order of candidates enrolled in each course and campus.
The final result of the classification and the call for verification panels are scheduled for November 16th. The final results of the examination boards and confirmation of enrollment must be published by December 8th.
