IMAX Film Camera Tour Exclusive Exhibition at Liaoning Science and Technology Museum Opens to Present a Feast of Popular Science in the Film Industry

China News Service, Shenyang, August 22 (Reporter Han Hong) The IMAX Film Camera Tour exclusive exhibition at the Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Museum is being held on the 22nd. The exhibition will last from August 21 to October 10. Relying on the largest IMAX screen in the country, it will bring a science popularization feast of the film and film industry to Shenyang movie fans.

This tour has three major exhibition areas: IMAX camera exhibition module, IMAX film exhibition module, and Nolan’s resume exhibition. The exhibition displays the original IMAX film camera, completely restoring the complete process from on-set shooting, film printing and scanning, to the final big screen screening, and focusing on the precious behind-the-scenes archives of Nolan's "Odyssey".

As the first feature film in film history to be shot entirely with IMAX film cameras, "Odyssey" was shot across 6 countries around the world. The entire film consumed more than 600 kilometers of IMAX 15-perf/65mm film. For the first time in 25 years, the newly developed IMAX film camera was used for the filming of this film, achieving an approximate 18K original image effect.

The Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Museum was selected as the only screening venue in the country for this touring exhibition, which deeply integrates film industry science popularization with cultural tourism science popularization, allowing movie fans to get up close and personal with precious film industry collections and understand the unique charm of film movies without having to go to the studio.

According to reports, the event will simultaneously launch the exhibition's exclusive stamp check-in interaction. Audiences can participate in collecting stamps while watching movies and exhibitions, enriching the immersive experience of movie fans. During the tour (August 21 to October 10), movie fans can watch the IMAX 1.43:1 exclusive full-frame version of "The Odyssey" in the theater and experience the shocking power of light and shadow in the epic film.
